  • Detailed Description :
    Banquet Housemen : Responsible for setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, etc. This position require temporary cross training in other positions based on business demands in the early season. Please be willing to work in any area of the resort as needed. This is a physical demanding job that requires someone who is motivated and willing to work hard.



    Dining Room Attendant
    May work in several different postions. You will be assigned your position upon arrival. The possible positions for the Dining Room attendant include: Busser, Host, or Food Runner.

    Busser: Bussers assist the waitstaff in guest service. Bring water and beverages, removing plates and silver when the guest is done; wipes down empty tables and prepares them for the next guest; generally follows the guidance of the server. You may also bring food from the kitchens to the dining areas to assist waitstaff in timely delivery of meals.

    Hostess: The Hostess greets and welcomes guests, seats the guest at their table, hands them menus and introduces their server. Takes reservations, if required, and monitors the floor to the highest performance of the servers and guest's satisfaction.

    Food Runner: The Food Runner assists the waitstaff in assuring the food is brought to the tables in a timely manor. You will also be asked to assist the server and kitchen as needed.

    Please also be willing to work in any area of the resort as needed. Since you will need to interact with Guests, advanced English is required. Please provide accurate start and end date information during your interview. Please do not commit to work dates that are NOT within your country embassy dates or university break. It is unprofessional and inconvenient to change dates following the interview.



    Housekeeper / Laundry Attendant
    Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public spaces. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, folding linens, removing dirty linens and towels from rooms, removing garbage, and assisting with the laundry.
    This is a physical demanding job that requires someone who is motivated and willing to work hard. This position is not recommended for those who have allergies to cleaning chemicals.

    The Laundry Attendant will be in charge of cleaning all linens and towels for the guest rooms. You will have to wash, dry and fold these items in a timely manor. You should be able to work independently and follow directions form your manager. You may also be asked to perform other tasks around the resort such as light maintenance work, assisting the kitchen or dining room, and light landscaping work. Training for all these duties will be provided by Sea Crest.

    YES. Employment is contingent on passing a drug screening upon arrival.
  • Salary :
    $13.25 per hour
  • Hours :
    Average of 32 hours per week over the course of the program. Participants will work an average of 32 hours per week over the course of the program. Some weeks may have more hours, some weeks may have less hours.
  • Extra Hours :
    $19.88 / hr
  • Possibiliity of a 2nd Job :
    It is possible for participants to obtain a second job, but the second job must not interfere with the schedule for your job at Sea Crest. Intrax participants are not permitted to work a second job without first receiving approval from visa sponsor
  • Dress code :
    Aprons will be provided by the employer. Please bring non slip shoes. There is no required uniform for the kitchen. It is recommended to bring professional looking attire for your first day and in the event you are needed to work in other Departments. To maintain Sea Crest's quality image, it is important for employees to present a neat, professional, well-groomed appearance at all times. Your appearance is an important part of the impression guests have of our hotel. You are entitled to one meal per shift that you work. This is considered a privilege not to be taken advantage of nor abused.
  • Housing :
    Estimated cost of housing is $100 per person/ per week.
  • Housing Deposit Required :
    Housing is provided by the employer. Sea Crest does have available housing which is optional and is apartment style and dormitory style. Sea Crest provides transportation between housing and work locations when the housing is located too far away to be able to walk to the work location.
  • Transportation to work :
    Transportation is provided between housing and work locations when the housing is located too far away to be able to walk to the work locations. Transportation is included in rental cost.
  • Meal benefits Required :
