Detailed Description :Water Park Attendant/Lifeguard – Placed in a position upon arrival and training. Will need to provide constant, dedicated surveillance. Enforce safety regulations and apply First Aid/CPR as needed. All positions involve daily exposure to the sun, heat, standing for the duration of your shift, and cleaning!
Must be able to swim 100 yards using crawl or breast stroke, complete feet first surface dive and retrieval of 10lb
brick in 8+ feet of water, tread water for 1 minute without the use of hands.
• Confident in Spoken English for interacting with customers, must pass Discovery and Dept. Training upon arrival to be offered a position.
• Must be able to work outside in the sun, lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Must understand seasonal industry, shifts may be shortened as needed and determined by your department.
• Must be able to arrive on a Monday or Thursday to housing. Processing will be every Tuesday and Discovery training to begin on Wednesday. If you miss the Processing and Discovery you must wait one week until the next.

Theme Park Worker: Responsible for the delivery of Guest First Service in a Clean and Safe Environment while working in Ride Operations, Food Service, and Park Services positions. Positions are split into Operations and Revenue and will either be charged with sales or safety responsibilities.

- Monitor daily goals.
-Comply with Six Flags Fiesta Texas policies and procedures, as well as safety and fire responsibilities.
-Communicate to Guests on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
-Greet and encourage Guests to play.
-Explain the rules and objectives of the game to Guests.
-Strive to meet or exceed daily per cap.
-Handle cash transactions by making change and collecting money.
-Accountable for revenue at assigned game.
-Operate a register.
-Award prizes to winners.
-Ensure that there is adequate stock in game.
-Keep area clean and orderly.
-Rotate at various games and locations.
-Communicate to Supervisors about assigned games
-Suggest improvements to management regarding game or location that would result in increased revenue, increased per caps, and decreased cost of goods sold.
-Minimize cost of sales by knowing the rules and prize levels of assigned game.
-Provide general park information to Guests
-Hang stock on the wall for display
-Report Guest’s reaction to game props and prizes
-Rotate among areas to help out with staffing needs
-Any other tasks deemed necessary by the Area Team Leader.
Will be assigned a position upon arrival based on park need in: food service, games or ride operations. All positions involve cleaning!

Required Job Training :Processing and Discovery Training are required before any participant may begin their job position. Students must pass this paid training in order to be offered a job position with Six Flags. Upon successful completion of the Discovery Training, you will be assigned your job position (see above descriptions) based on department need.
Salary :$8.50 - $9.00 per hour (*Rates are subject to change)
Hours :Average 35-40 hours per week
Extra Hours :possible
Possibiliity of a 2nd Job :You may have a second job as long as it does not interfere at all with your Six Flags schedule.
Dress code :Uniform: Provided free of charge. Additional items desired are purchased by employee directly
Grooming: No visible tattoos, clean shaven, no facial piercings or long hair for males.
Social Security Number: Approximately seven days after you check into the program you will apply for a social security card. You will be able to work before you receive your card.
Housing :Approximately $125 per week, payroll deducted. (*Rates are subject to change)
Housing Deposit Required :Housing Deposit : $175 - $200/person. Apartment Style, Located within approximately 3 miles of Six Flags. Housing week is from Saturday - Friday. No Partial weeks. A housing deposit of $200 is due prior to arrival with 2 weeks rent. A total of $440 due in advance for housing. You will not be able to move in without advance payment. Laundry is pay per load, $1.50 per wash, $1.50 per dry.
Transportation to work :You will take public transportation to and from work each day. You will pay approximately $30 per month for a monthly pass. This is not included in the cost of your rent.
