POSITION OPPORTUNITY & HOUSING INFORMATION
  • Job Title :
    Amusement Park Worker could be placed in: Ride Operations, Retail, Games, Food Service, Waterpark Attendant, Park Services. All positions involve cleaning!

  • Skill Required :
    Must have strong English skills both spoken and written. Willingness to operate cash register, basic US currency skills. Must also have good guest service skills. Ability to work well with others. Ability to work flexible schedules. Ability to withstand various weather conditions Students should be able to lift items up to 50lbs/22.7kg.
  • Detailed Description :
    Food Service Worker – Duties may include: food preparation, cashier, server, cleaning. All positions involve cleaning!

    Water Attendant : Will be assigned a water park position upon arrival. Responsible for guest safety on water rides and slides. Must be able to climb multiple sets of stairs. Able to stand for your shift and work in and around water up to 3 feet deep. All positions involve cleaning!

    - Must be able to: swim 50 yards and retrieve a 10lb brick in 5 feet of water, be comfortable in water, work outside, stand for long periods of time and be willing to test your ride each day

    $9.00 per hour (*Rates are subject to change)

    Approximately 35 hours per week, limited training schedule during first 2-3 weeks.

    Uniform is purchased upon arrival directly from host company, about $30-45 for basic uniform. (*Rates are subject to change)
    Must wear full black or white leather shoes with no visible logo.
    No visible tattoos, clean shaven, no facial piercings or long hair for males.
  • Housing :
    Rent will be no more than $500/month/person
  • Housing Deposit Required :
    1. Confirmed $200 application fee upon approval of candidate’s application – 100% refundable if visa denied.
    2. Rent will be no more than $500/month – actual amount TBD, but all housing will be furnished and could include transportation,depending on where the housing they find is located.
    3. No specific additional housing deposit, it will be spread out as part of monthly rent payments.
    4. First month’s rent will be due upon arrival, so participants should be prepared to pay the $200 app fee and a maximum of $500 before their program begins.
    5. If a participant leaves early, the deficit is then spread among everyone in the apartments (as opposed to just the participants left in the individual unit). So the entire group of AAG participants living there.
    6. SI will give an in-person orientation for participants at all host companies they are providing housing for, thus participant arrivals need to follow the job offer directions very carefully and will most likely not be approved for date change requests.
