    Lifeguard
    - Interact with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
    - Provide exceptional guest service in order to enhance the guest experience in the water park.
    - Provide general assistance to guests, including answering questions about the resort, pools, rides and attractions.
    - Monitoring the well-being of guests and responding to emergency situations both in and out of water. Includes providing emergency first aid as necessary.
    - Enforcing established rules, complying with regulations, and maintaining professional lifeguarding practices.
    - Maintaining a constant alertness to what our hundreds of guests are doing, preventing accidents and assisting swimmers in distress. Should an emergency occur, Waterpark Attendants are responsible for taking quick and decisive action and providing emergency care.
    - Throughout their shift, Waterpark Attendants are also expected to play an important role in keeping the resort clean and comfortable.
    - All of these important responsibilities must be fulfilled while working either inside in a humid environment or outside in the elements – heat, humidity, rain, and wind. Long periods of standing are required.
    - Advises waterpark management of unsafe and unsanitary conditions.
    - Possesses a general knowledge of the waterpark pools and attractions.

    Water Slide Attendant
    - This position requires exceptional communication skills. In this role, students will be positioned at the top of several different waterpark slides/rides (in and around any water area, 3ft or under) and will be responsible for greeting guests, providing exceptional service at the ride, ensuring the safety of the guests on the ride, and for communicating effectively with the lifeguards located at the bottom of the rides. Students must be aware of all safety rules and precautions of all waterpark rides and must make sure all guests who choose to use the waterpark slides are of the designated height for the ride, are wearing the correct footwear for the ride, are aware of the depth of the water below, etc. They are responsible for ensuring the safety of guests/associates in all slides, attractions, and interactive features in the indoor and outdoor waterpark areas. In addition, student will be required to: Interact with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner; Provide exceptional guest service in order to enhance the guest experience in the water park. Provide general assistance to guests, including answering questions about the resort; Monitoring the well-being of guests and responding to emergency situations both in and out of a waterpark area. -Enforcing established rules, complying with regulations, and maintaining professional practices.
    -Maintaining a constant alertness to what our hundreds of Guests are doing, preventing accidents and drowning in waterpark areas. All of these important responsibilities must be fulfilled while working outside in the elements – heat, humidity, rain, and wind. Long periods of standing are required.

    Waterpark Attendant- Shallow
    Must be able to swim 100 meters in 5 minutes or less. Upon arrival at resort, certification for a 100 meter swim test will take place with no specified timeline for completion. You may swim using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both but swimming on the back or side is not allowed.

    Waterpark Attendant- Deep
    Must be able to swim 100 meters in 5 minutes or less. Upon arrival at resort, certification for a 300 meter swim test will take place with no specified timeline for completion. You may swim using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both but swimming on the back or side is not allowed.
  • Required Job Training :
    Yes. 28 Hours of ARC Lifeguard training after onboarding orientation. Cost of Lifeguard training is $265. Host Company pays $200, participant pays $65 (payroll deducted). If participant does not complete agreed upon program dates, then participant will need to pay back $200 training fee. Participant is paid $7.25 per hour during Lifeguard Training.

    Lifeguards need to bring their own non-thong type sandal, crocs, or aqua shoes. Shirt,
    shorts, and swimsuits (for females only), water bottle, whistle, lanyard, and visor will be
    provided at no charge.
  • Housing :
    $90 per week (*Rate is subject to change)
  • Housing Deposit Required :
    $250.00 ($100 of deposit is refundable if housing is left in clean condition/condition upon
    move in.)
