Serving food :
- Sets places at dining tables, takes orders, serves food and drinks, answers inquiries about the menu and attends to the wishes of guests. Clears and resets tables in a timely fashion.
- Suggestively sells drinks and food: and is attentive to the guests, making them feel welcome, at all times.
Food Runner : Delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately. Acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff. Communicating food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities (e.g. food allergies)
Prepare cooking : ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc. Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc. Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
Kitchen Helper : Preparing meal ingredients for the cook, which includes washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing ingredients. Assisting kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks. Properly washing and drying all dishes, utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards.
Cleaning : Cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces in the restaurant, including tables, chairs, counters, floors, and equipment. Washing and sanitizing all dishes, glassware, and utensils used in the restaurant. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors on a regular basis to maintain a clean and safe environment.
