Resort Worker

Employer is looking for students who will be happy working in the beautiful but isolated town of Tusayan, AZ near the world-famous Grand Canyon as a Resort Worker. Students must be prepared to perform duties at all mentioned below departments

• Housekeeping/Houseman : Thoroughly cleans, rooms, restrooms and public area according to department procedures. Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes supplies per housekeeping procedures. Interacts on occasion with guests while cleaning guest and meeting rooms. Ensures all linen rooms and work areas are neat, clean and organized. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Food Service Utility Associate/Dishwasher : Preparing food, maintaining food, utensils and equipment clean and orderly. Follow safety, security and kitchen procedures. Follows and upholds all health codes and sanitation regulations. Responsible for stocking, serving and bussing of the food and beverage dining areas, including assisting guests with taking and expediting food orders. Maintains the dish room and dishwashing machine, and washes and properly stores all dishes. Wet and sometimes cold environment. Prepare and plate food as needed. Physically demanding. Deliver food, beverage, and other products in an efficient and timely manner. Keep the work area and equipment neat and clean. Preparing food, maintaining food, utensils and equipment clean and orderly. Follow safety, security and kitchen procedures. Follows and upholds all health codes and sanitation regulations.
• Food Prep/Prep-Cook : Prepares food required for foodservice operation and operates point of sale (POS) system. Operating kitchen utilities, records all waste, clean up the area, perform cash register transaction, perform other duties as assigned. Physically demanding. Perform opening shifts, closing shifts and side work duties as instructed. Performs other duties as assigned.
