Attractions Team Member:

• Greets all guests when they approach the attraction with a smile and fun acknowledgement.
• Assists guest awareness how to use the attraction or game and rules involved in riding.
• Explains the operation of the attraction or game in a way that is fun, safe, and encouraging.
• Keep safety and cleanliness as a top-of-mind issue at all times.
• Make sure all safety rules are being obeyed by our guests, our team, and yourself.
• Assists guests with all special requests or special needs. Let them know we care and want them to have fun.
• Demonstrates the ability and willingness to get along well with guests and team members at all times.
• Demonstrate games and attractions and play along with guests when time permits.
• Follow best practices when dealing with children and parents.
• Maintains uniform standards.
• Follow all procedures regarding safety, special issues and emergencies that may occur while working in your position at the park.
• Maintains open communications with management and all departments of scheduled events.
• Communicates with the Supervisor regarding status of gaming and attractions inventory and supplies.

 

Culinary (Food Team Member):

• Preparing workstations with supplies, food, or condiments
• Working as a team to prepare a food area, sell food, and clean and close a food area
• Food preparation and cooking, utilizing ovens, fryers, broilers, griddles, and mixers
• Wrapping hamburgers
• Making pizzas
• Preparing sub sandwiches and gyros
• Cooking French fries, chicken tenders, and onion rings
• Making funnel cakes
• Cooking with and cleaning fryers
• Preparing foods for cooking
• Overseeing cooking and proper preparation of food
• Preparing proper quantities of food according to guest needs
• Following recipes and procedures to prepare food
• Maintaining service standard and hygienic practices
• Operating cash registers and interacting with guests

 

Merchandise or Retail:

  1. Operate and monitor rides and attractions to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests.
  2. Assist guests with boarding and disembarking from rides, ensuring they are properly secured and following all safety procedures.
  3. Collect tickets or tokens from guests and provide necessary instructions for accessing rides or attractions.
  4. Enforce height, weight, and age restrictions for specific rides or attractions, and ensure compliance for the safety of all guests.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the amusement park or recreation facility, including ride areas, restrooms, seating areas, and food stands.
  6. Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on rides and attractions, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  7. Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
  8. Follow emergency protocols and procedures in the event of an accident, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests.
  9. Promote and sell tickets, concessions, and merchandise to guests, utilizing cash registers or point-of-sale systems accurately.
  10. Assist with crowd control and line management during peak periods to maintain order and ensure efficient operation of rides and attractions.
  11. Participate in regular training sessions and stay updated on safety protocols, ride procedures, and park policies.

 

House and Grounds:

  • Mowing lawns
  • Trimming hedges
  • Watering plants
  • Installing sprinkler and irrigation systems
  • Preparing outdoor areas for various weather conditions by weatherproofing, covering outdoor furniture with tarps, tying down unsecured items, etc.
  • Maintaining gardens and lawns, including planting, fertilizing, weeding, soil conditioning, mulching and applying pesticides
  • Operating and maintaining garden and landscaping equipment
  • Scheduling specialty services such as ground leveling or patio installation
  • Ordering supplies and equipment

 

Rental Operations Host:

  • Conduct rental services for ECVs, wheelchairs, strollers, and lockers, as well as assist with sales, rental agreements, refunds, key exchanges, etc.
  • Provide customers with instructions on how to use the ECVs.
  • Strictly follow procedures for collecting locker rental fees and key deposits.
  • Arrange rental equipment and prepare other rental accessories every morning.
  • Assist with the maintenance of rental equipment, including cleaning the surrounding area, every evening.
  • Provide quick and efficient service to minimize customer waiting time.

Tickets:

  • Greet and communicate with customers in a friendly manner.
  • Follow the ticket sales process efficiently.
  • Sell tickets and make ticket reservations using a computer system.
  • Sell and provide services for Season Passes.
    Accept payments by cash, check, and credit card.
  • Issue free admission tickets and special-priced tickets according to Dollywood’s policy.
  • Process refunds, exchanges, upgrades, downgrades, and other special requests according to Dollywood’s policy.
  • Record daily revenue transactions.
    Scan customers’ tickets upon entry to the amusement park.
  • Verify the validity of pass holders.
  • Facilitate queue management actively to reduce customer waiting time.
  • Clean and organize the workspace daily.
  • Ensure that map displays are stocked with accurate and sufficient information for the day.

Parking:

  • Greet and communicate with customers in a friendly manner.
  • In the event of a tense or emergency situation, respond calmly, sensibly, and promptly.
  • Regularly monitor the assigned area to ensure smooth traffic flow.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the parking lot.
  • Assist in placing cones, barriers, and directional signs throughout the parking lot as assigned.
  • Direct customers to designated parking areas safely and efficiently using clear hand signals as outlined in the standard operating procedures.
  • Be proactive to reduce customer waiting times in the parking lot.
    Wear, maintain, and keep the Dollywood uniform clean.
