Remark
The participant can expect to begin paid training 1 to 1 ½ weeks following the arrival date. The participant must ensure they have enough US currency to pay for housing, food, transportation, and any other living expenses while they are waiting to start working. The participant is not expected to start work on the DS-2019 start date.

$115/week/person (Rates are subject to change.)
Housing Deposit Required
$250 upon to arrival, $50 is a non-refundable fee used for linens and administration fees.

If the participant departs the housing earlier than the DS-2019 end date, they will be subject to the early move-out policy, which is usually a forfeit of the housing deposit.

There is no local public transportation system in Top Sail or Surf City. Other transportation options include walking, biking, tasis, and rideshare.

These area are beach towns, meaning they will offer a small-town living experience.

Oak Island is a beach town in North Carolina. It’s separated from the mainland by the Intracoastal Waterway. The Atlantic coast is lined with beaches, and fisherman gather at the long Ocean Crest Pier. The Oak Island Nature Center has trails, plus displays on fossils and native animals, To the east, Oak Island Lighthouse has sweeping views over Caswell Beach and Bald Head Island.

In Top Sail, enjoy some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets found on the North Carolina coast. While visiting the Topsail area, you will enjoy some of the most pristine, uncrowded beaches along the east coast. The area boasts the greatest simple pleasures life has to offer. Here you will witness coastal wildlife flourishing in its natural environment.

Retail Associate 

As a retail associate, the participant is responsible for customer service, stocking merchandise, completing transactions at the register, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.
