Position Description:
The program is focused on the introduction to commercial production, filmmaking, and visual research, as
well as learning how to directly communicate with executives, producers, and directors. The trainee will
learn specific research techniques, for example, how to source specific images and design visual
treatments, how to integrate others’ input and feedback into the project and how to collaborate with other
team members towards the best final product. By the end of the program, the trainee will have gained a
broad understanding of the commercial pitch and development process in the American commercial and
film industry and leave with greater understanding of the functions and relationship between directors,
agencies, and producers.
