Job title: Room Attendant & Houseman

Job prerequisites: Must agree to do either Room Attendant or Houseman position. Must have a positive attitude and a friendly demeanor when interacting with hotel guests. Ability to read, write and communicate in English, as well as have basic math skills. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs maximally and 10 lbs frequently. Must have proper motor skills for cleaning rooms quickly. Must be able to stand for an entire shift of 6 to 8 hours and move quickly while carrying items as well as stretch bend and kneel frequently

Job description: In this position, students will work either as Room Attendants or Housemen. Positions will be assigned to students shortly after arrival base on the employer’s needs. Students will lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and stand for the duration of their shift. Students assigned to a given position may not be required to perform all the responsibilities listed above on one given day, but must be flexible and willing to do any and all items listed above.

Please bring black rubber-soled shoes or black sneakers. Khaki or black pants must also be worn.
