Banquets & Set Up/Serve

The Setup Associate is responsible for the setup, refresh, tear down and maintenance of all meeting space according to Resort standards

The Banquet Server is responsible for the setup and serving of food and beverages to guests at all banquet functions according to
Resort standards.


Provide a genuine smile and friendly, responsive service to guests to help create a beyond expectation dining or take-out experience. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily. In this position you will have various duties including taking orders, preparing orders, delivering orders, keeping the kitchen and work areas clean, and assisting in other areas of the Food & Beverage Division.

Food & Beverage General

As a member of the Food & Beverage Division you may work in a variety of positions or may be assigned to a specific position upon arrival:

Barista: This position contributes to Kalahari’s success by providing Beyond Expectations customer service to all customers by providing them with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable work environment.

Cafe Cashier: As a Cafe Cashier, provide a genuine smile and friendly, responsive service to guests to help create a beyond expectation dining or take-out experience.

Food Runner: As a Food Runner, provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests.

Host/Hostess: As a Host or Hostess; prompt recognition and providing a warm and friendly greeting with a smile and responsive service is essential to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. Manage the efficiency and timeliness of seating
guests to their tables with their wishes in mind.

Retail Salesperson

The Retail Sales Associate is the ultimate guide through the guests’ shopping experience. Gift Shop merchandise is a unique part of our business, which requires a special person to create the experience. You will assist guests in finding items that they love and ringing up sales on a cash register.


Housekeepers assist in the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public spaces. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, folding linens, removing dirty linens and towels from rooms, removing garbage, and assisting with the cleaning other areas of the Resort. This is a physical demanding job that requires someone who is motivated and willing to work hard. Please do not have allergies to cleaning chemicals.

Second jobs are permitted, but you must be available for every shift you are scheduled to work at Kalahari Resort and your second job must not interfere with their work performance.
