Participants will work a variety of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Schedules may vary each week and it may not be possible to give a set schedule.
Working weekends and holidays is required.
Position Description:
Attraction Attendants are responsible for the proper operation of amusement rides and attractions including assisting guests in loading and unloading of attraction and restraining systems, operating the attractions, communicating safety instructions, and observing the attraction while in motion in accordance with Policies and Procedures. The Attraction Attendant will also be enforcing all park policies and safety guidelines in accordance with Policies and Procedures.
Attraction Attendants must be familiar with all safety regulations and information and be able to communicate this information to guests.
The Attendant must be able to speak English confidently and clearly in order to give instructions to guests. Attendants must be outgoing and friendly and have excellent customer service skills.

- Able to move equipment which would include pushing pulling bending and lifting.
- Able to walk quickly to/from job locations.
- Able to stand for up to (8) hours.
- Able to read and understand daily checklists.
- Able to speak to give other employees and guests verbal instructions.
- Able to work in a considerably noisy environment from equipment and amusement attractions.
- Able to learn and understand all policies and procedures pertinent to the department and the functions the job.
- Able to follow verbal and written directions.
- Able to follow safety practices and be safety conscious.
- Able to deal with guests in a friendly but firm manner to provide for a good guest experience and enforce safety rules.
- Able to learn comprehend and enforce policies and procedures.
- Able to handle stressful situations in a calm professional manner.
- Able to follow daily operational and closing procedures in order to operate the ride as instructed enforce safety rules and maintain cleanliness sanitation and organization in all work areas.
- Able to respond quickly to unusual situations during normal operation including power failure and/or operating system faults or shutdowns and smoke alarms.
- Able to handle minor complaints and suggestions from our guests in a calm and professional manner or seek additional assistance from supervisor if necessary.
- Perform inspection checklists faithfully and honesty according to procedure.
- Able to perform work duties outside in varying weather conditions prevalent at the time.
- Requires early arrivals and/or late night departures
As an Attraction Attendant, you may be asked to assist in other departments, such as Admissions and Food & Beverage, as needed. Please be prepared for this and consider it a great opportunity to learn multiple positions in the park.
Required Duties:
- Clean the ride area, perform safety inspections and maintain ride cleanliness throughout the day.
- Operate amusement rides during safely and according to procedure.
- Respond quickly to unusual situations during normal operation including power failure, operating system faults or shutdowns, smoke alarms and guest evacuation.
- Provides verbal instructions to guests at the start of each ride and during the ride.
- Collect ride tickets from guests.
- Monitors and responds to inappropriate guest behavior to enforce rules. Request assistance from management and security as needed.
- Must exhibit a high degree of motivation toward providing guest satisfaction by displaying a friendly approach to service guests
- Must be able to deal with many guests each day in a positive and friendly manner.
- All other duties as assigned by management
