Food Runner/Busser
The Food Runner/Busser is responsible for fully supporting the Server and Kitchen Staff. They are responsible for plating food items, delivering prepared food to guest tables, and clearing tables after guests have finished eating. This position has a large amount of Guest Interaction, so Advanced English skills are necessary.
Basic functions of the Food Runner/Busser include:
- Platting some food items for delivery to tables
- Running food/delivering orders to tables
- Demonstrating responsible alcohol service
- Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge
- Answering questions – accurately and politely
- Properly reading items printed on order tickets
- Assembling orders – double checking product quality and specs
- Satisfying any/all needs of the guests – regularly
- Maintaining a clean & organized station – including pre-bussing & table maintenance
- Clearing tables of dirty dishes after guests have finished eating
- Cleaning tables and surrounding area
- Performing opening closing & side duties – setting up/breaking down station expo line
- refilling condiments cleaning ashtrays etc
- Demonstrating knowledge of all table/station numbers
- Directing guests to areas & restrooms
- Effectively communicating with co-workers (kitchen)
Starting rate of pay is $10 per hour. There is a possibility of a pay increase for those employees with extensive experience or outstanding work performance.

Kitchen Staff
The Kitchen staff and is responsible for preparing food in a fast and efficient manner according to the standards set for the menu items; maintain high food quality standards as well as reasonable speed of preparation of all menu items; set up and breakdown of assigned work station as well as sanitation of immediate work area; lift heavy pots and pans up to 20 lbs.; washing dishes, and assisting in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
