Housing Information
Rent is $115 per week per participant and will be payroll deducted. All utilities, as well as Wi-Fi are included in rent. You will be required to sign a housing agreement and abide by the house rules, both of which will be provided to you by your Host Company.
Housing Deposit Required
A security deposit of $250 will be due at the time of move in along with the first week's rent and you will be required to sign the housing agreement.

The security deposit will be refunded provided you work the dates agreed to in your job offer, do not cause damage to the housing, and leave the housing in clean condition when you move out. Rent will be paid by payroll deduction and will deducted from your paycheck.

Participants must appreciate hard work; enjoy working with and for others; take pride in a job well done; and be committed to providing first-class service to guests.

The work is highly customer oriented. Employees must be willing to do various cleaning jobs and must be willing to work on their feet all day. This is a great job for someone who likes to move around a lot and not stay in one place for their entire shift.

Housekeepers/ Room Attendants are responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas within the Hotel are clean and properly presented.

Essential Job Functions for Housekeeping/ Room Attendant include (but are not limited to):
  • Clean the required number of rooms each shift based on hotel standard
  • Make beds, change linens, clean toilets, bathtubs, mirrors, floors, and sinks
  • Vacuum, clean, and dust guest rooms.
  • Follow all required safety and standard operating procedures
  • Follow all company and regulatory policies
  • Report lost and found to Supervisor
  • Ensure that rooms are cleaned to the hotel’s quality standards
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests, co-workers, and property employees
  • All other duties as assigned
  • You must arrive by the date agreed upon at the interview, and listed on your work offer, and are expected to work until the last day listed on your work offer.
  • You will be expected to arrive to work on time, every day, and dressed in proper uniform.
  • Holiday Inn & Suites North Beach has high standards of cleanliness and guest service. You will be expected to make sure you perform your job responsibilities as taught in training and according to company standards.
  • Since you will have interaction with the guests, advanced English is required.
  • Making beds
  • Cleaning bathrooms
  • Cleaning kitchens
  • Dusting,
  • Vacuuming, sweeping floors.
  • Folding linens
  • Removing dirty linens and towels from rooms
  • Removing garbage from the rooms.
  • Assisting with the laundry.
  • You may also have to move couches and other furnishings to clean around them.

Average Hrs/Wk : 32 Hour

You will “average” 32 hours per week over the course of your program. Some weeks may be more and some may be less depending on business needs.

You will work mostly day shifts. Some evening shifts may be possible.

It may not be possible to have a set schedule each week and friends traveling together may not be able to be given the same day off.

Working weekends and holidays is required.

Second Jobs

Second jobs are permitted. Employees must be available for every shift they are scheduled to work at Holiday Inn Express Oceanfront and their second job must not interfere with their work performance.

Participants are not permitted to start working at a second job without first obtaining approval from US Sponsor.
