This is a great opportunity for participants interested in the Culinary Arts and wanting to spend their summer in an Island Resort atmosphere.
Enjoy making kids happy as you serve them the best soft-serve ice cream cones! Featured frozen novelties along with malts, shakes and ice cream sundaes will satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. Hot Dogs, Burgers & Fries and kid friendly meals provide lots of choices for hungry families!
Counter staff and Food Prep staff work together to provide consistent and delicious menu items to everyone who comes through the door!
Right down the street from the National Perry Monument, this location is a magnet for hundreds of tourists looking for a fast meal and affordable value. The environment is friendly and welcoming. Our Dairy Isle Staff is a special part of the Boardwalk Family.
- Serve Ice Cream and Ice Cream Novelties
- Work the grill preparing food items.
- Work the fryer preparing food items.
- Other food preparation as needed.
- Provide customer service
- Take orders and ring up sales
- Operate a cash register
- Operate the dishwasher
- Cleaning the Kitchen as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen Manager.
Typical Schedule:
Employees will work 6 days a week with 1 day off per week. Your shifts will vary with a variety of morning, afternoon and evening shifts. Working weekends and holidays is required
Supplies Required:
Employees must purchase two uniform shirts at a cost of $15 each. The Employer will provide a third shirt free of charge. Sweatshirts are available at a cost of $30 each. Uniform charges for shirts/sweatshirts will be deducted from your paycheck.
Additional Information:
Employees receive a 50% discount on meals during their work shift.
The employer plans activities for the participants and encourages them to attend all activities available in the community to ensure they have a rewarding experience.
