This is a great opportunity for participants interested in the Culinary Arts and wanting to spend their summer in an Island Resort atmosphere.
As a member of the Kitchen staff your responsibilities are key to the restaurant’s success. At the Keys Restaurant, you will be considered an all-around culinary employee and will learn the following positions: – Dishwasher – Grill Cook- Fry Cook- Salad Prep.
- Work under the direction of the Kitchen Manager.
- Employees will learn each station in the kitchen.
- Work the grill preparing food items.
- Work the fryer preparing food items.
- Work the salad station preparing food items.
- Other food preparation as needed.
- Operate the dishwasher
- Cleaning the Kitchen as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as requested by the Kitchen Manager.
Skills Required:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Kitchen procedures. Previous experience in a restaurant, or background with Culinary, a plus.
- Participants need to have intermediate to advance English Skills.
- Must had a good attitude and be a team player.
SECOND JOBS:
Second jobs are permitted and there are several opportunities on the Island. Employees must be available for every shift they are scheduled to work at The Keys and their second job must not interfere with their work performance.
Intrax participants are not permitted to start work at a second job without receiving approval from Intrax first.

Employees receive a 50% discount on meals during their work shift.
