Position Description
- Arcade Associate An Arcade Associate for Wilderness at the Smokies is responsible for providing guests with a safe and positive experience in the
Arcade section of Adventure Forest. This includes, but isn’t limited to: ensuring all safety requirements are met, providing outstanding customer service, communicating with guests and other associates, helping our guests have a fun time and all other duties as assigned. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function. - F&B Cashier As a cashier at Wilderness at the Smokies, participants are responsible for ensuring superior customer service by taking orders for food, preparing food that is ordered, receiving monies for all items located in the deli and ensuring cleanliness throughout this food and beverage outlets. Participants are also responsible for restocking all deli and market inventory, on an as-needed basis, and must possess excellent guest relations and communication skills by dealing with customers in an efficient and professional manner.
- Front Desk As a front desk attendant at Wilderness at the Smokies, participants are responsible for making accommodation requests for the hotel, motel, and resort patrons by registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room keys or cards,
transmitting and receiving messages, keeping records of occupied rooms and guests’ accounts, making and confirming reservations, and presenting statements to and collecting payments from departing guests. - Park Services
- Pressure wash all waterpark floors
- Perform all pre-operational duties of the waterpark prior to opening
- Clean waterpark drains
- Vacuum pools and remove pool covers as needed seasonally
- Fill and distribute watercoolers to waterparks
- Water plants within the waterpark
- Pressure wash & clean trash cans and trash can liners
- Maintain park image of cleanliness throughout shift by sweeping, bussing tables, changing trash cans,
and picking up debris as needed - Clean waterpark restrooms hourly. Ensure all paper products are stocked, area is swept, and restrooms
are presentable for guests - Assist Aquatics Maintenance with inflating rafts/tubes as needed
- Utilize proper safety equipment while using chemicals and mechanical equipment
- Maintains clean and safe work environment
- Able to work independently with little to no supervision
- Greet guests and dispatch slides and rides as an attendant in position as needed.
- All other duties as assigned by management
