Housing InformationStudents will be asked to select a payroll deduction schedule of 1 or 2 paychecks.
Full $300.00 deposit refunded if housing passes check-out cleaning inspection. Refunded deposit amount applied to final rent payment and any difference returned on final paycheck. Deposit will be forfeited if participants leave without the notice listed in the Housing Contract.

The Banquet House Attendant is responsible for the physical set up and turnover of all
meetings, conventions, social banquets, and catering events.
Job Description:
- Responsible for the physical set up of all function spaces and rooms, including moving heavy equipment and boxes
- Work as a team player with the Event Coordinators and Banquet Staff
- Communicate over a two-way radio with associates when needed
- Maintain all Convention Services equipment in appropriate condition and spaces
- Ensure all set-ups are completed in a timely manner according to Suncadia Resort & Spa standards and policies
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment at all times
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
- Participants must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Seasonality and business needs dictate
schedule and hours worked.
Suncadia will train staff on position expectations and standards.
As a Banquet House Attendant, you will be part of the Banquets Gratuity (“tip”) pool. Last summer, employees who performed to the expectations of this position earned an average of $5.00 per hour in tips above the hourly wage. Gratuity can vary day-to-day, event-to-event, and is based on actual business volume and hours worked. Gratuity is paid at the discretion of group clients and is not guaranteed. Gratuity policies and standards may change at company
- discretion and should not be relied upon as expected income.
- Participants may use cleaning chemicals in this position.
- English skills required for this position: EXCELLENT.
Uniform: Participants will need to provide black pants, black non-slip shoes, and a black t-shirt. Additional uniform pieces provided by Suncadia for free.
