Carowinds/Cedar Point Park – Participants will have the opportunity to work in 2 different amusementparks and explore different areas of the United States during the season! Participants will arrive inCharlotte North Carolina where they will start working at Carowinds. At the end of April, they will transfer by provided bus to Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio.

 

Ride Operator 

  • Operate and monitor amusement park rides.
  • Ensure guests follow all safety rules and procedures.
  • Check safety restraints, seat belts, and ride equipment.
  • Assist guests with boarding and exiting rides.
  • Control ride operations and follow safety procedures.
  • Manage guest lines and answer basic questions.
  • Keep the ride area clean, safe, and organized.

Food and Beverage

  • Lift/Carry: 51 Lbs + with assistance. Constantly Required (66% or more of the time) Push/Pull (typically on wheeled device such as dolly or cart): 51 Lbs + with assistance. Constantly Required (66% or more of the time)
  • Standing for entire shift
  • Handling cleaning chemicals
  • Working outdoors
