Gift Shop – Retail Associate

(Rate: $15 /hr)

Must be 21 years of age or older. Advanced English is required. Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays is a must.

Job description : The Gift Shop position is responsible for facilitating the day-to-day operations of the retail shop, stocking inventory, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and assisting guests.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Greet guests entering the gift shop/Liquor shop
• Assist guests with choosing items and finding sizes
• Prevent loss by theft or breakage
• Maintain organized and presentable displays
• Prepare orders to be shipped through the mail
• Handle cash and credit cards to process payments and returns
• Assist in performing weekly inventories
• Coordinate with Assistant Restaurant Manager to improve product offering based on guest feedback
• Ensure guest satisfaction in all aspects of the Gift Shop
• Assist in Brewery tours

Dishwasher & Front House Utility

Job description: 

As Dishwasher, you are responsible for unloading the dishes and cutlery brought to them by bussers and loading them into dish trays. The trays are unloaded, then placed into the commercial washers and are cleaned once closed. The commercial dishwashing machines do not accommodate larger pots and pans, so you will be required to wash things by hand.

Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining their workspace and keeping sanitary conditions at all times. This is a hard, physically demanding job. You will have constant exposure to cleaning chemical, hot water, steam from the dishwasher. Floors will be slick, so proper footwear (nonslip) is required. You will stand, bend, lift, and twist repeatedly for long durations. You will also be responsible for sweeping, cleaning, and trash removal. Must clean grease traps. Greeter, Seater

(Rate: $11.91 plus tips.)

Must be 21 years of age or older. This is a multi-floor establishment and you may be required to climb stairs repeatedly during work shifts when seating guests. This is a physically demanding position. Proficient English speaking and comprehension skills are required. Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays is a must.

Job description:

Responsibilities include; greeting guests, monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and clean tables, estimating wait times for guests, managing the guest waiting list, seating them, and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.

A positive and assertive disposition goes a long way. Responsible for answering the telephone; booking reservations; moving tables together to accommodate large parties.

Host often communicates needs between managers, serving staff, bartenders, bussers and guests, while maintaining an overall understanding of who is occupying where and what has been preset. It can be a juggling act, so strong multi-tasking skills is a must. The host will also assist as a back server, food expediter and assist in cleaning duties whenever needed.

Line Cooks are responsible for preparation, assembly, and final presentation of ingredients according to the 49th State Brewing Company’s recipes and specifications and ensuring the quality of cooked/prepared food by testing them. These individuals will utilize a large range of kitchen skills, including slicing, grinding, frying, and baking during food service. Line cooks are also responsible for the detection and disposal of unattractive and spoiled foods.
