Job Description

As a retail sales associate, participants will be doing the following activities as part of their job:

• stocking and re-stocking merchandise
• working at the cash desk at customer checkout
• assisting customers with merchandise
• answering questions and helping customers with any assistance they need
• “straightening up” and cleaning the store before and after opening and when few customers are in the store.
• setting up displays
• arranging merchandise
• stamping and tagging prices on merchandise.
• keeping a record of sales
• prepare inventory of stock
• order merchandise

Participants must have a working knowledge of U.S. currency. They must be friendly and courteous to customers and have excellent customer service skills.
