Housing Information($15/day approximately for housing and meals.)
Housing cost will be deducted from paychecks. Sheets and towels are provided. All employees must share a room with one roommate. Rooms are based on double occupancy. No single rooms are available. Most rooms have a shared bathroom with another room.
All rooms are heated but do not come with air conditioning. Rooms are not equipped with phones Free internet access is available in the Employee Dining Room. Complimentary laundry facilities are available on site. There is also a central recreation room with tv, pool tables, foose ball, movie room, book library, scheduled activities, including trips to Wasilla and Anchorage and employee tour opportunities.
Termination of job equals termination of housing. All employees must sign an employee housing agreement which outlines standards of conduct and rules for usage of employee housing. Employee housing privileges can be revoked for violations of housing and conduct standards.
No charge transportation is available between employee housing & work facility. Shuttle from employee housing to Denali is provided daily, free of charge. It departs every hour on the hour from employee housing to the Lodge.

Job Description
Busser
Performs a variety of entry-level restaurant tasks. Greets and serves guests, removes food and beverage service utensils and items. Cleans and resets tables.
Dish Steward
Sets up and breaks down dish machine. Cleans and polishes machine thoroughly and checks to see it is operating correctly. Washes and stores all dishes trays utensils cups and equipment used. Checks water temperature to ensure proper temperature. Removes trash from kitchen area and cleans and sanitizes garbage cans. Keeps dish area neat and clean including belt line from dining area. Keeps all equipment clean sanitized polished and properly stored. May also monitor/clean the team dining room and set up and break down team dinning buffet lines.
Host
Performs a variety of entry-level customer service and clerical tasks. Routinely, processes financial payment transactions. Responds to employees, management, and customers queries.
Laundry Attendant
Knowledge of housekeeping or laundry service or equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent certification. Ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. Ability to comply with company health and safety requirements. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position for 8 hours per day, including the ability to lift a maximum of 50lbs. Some experience in positions involving housekeeping or laundry service is normally preferred for this job.
Prep Cook
Performs a variety of entry-level food preparation tasks. Routinely, prepares and processes food and beverages for cooking or service. Cleans and washes food items. Observes company health, sanitation and food quality policies. Assists with cleaning and sanitizes kitchen and food items. Job Requirements: High school completion or equivalent certification. Working knowledge of computerized restaurant point of sales (POS) systems is desired. Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and written, with customers, employees and management. Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, maintains an attention to detail, while working in a team or group environment. Some experience in positions involving food preparation is normally preferred for this job.
Public Area Attendant
Routinely cleans public areas. Operates cleaning equipment. Identifies maintenance issues. Makes supplies deliveries and maintains supply closets. Respond to guest and management questions and inquiries. Performs a variety of entry-level housekeeping and delivery tasks.
Room Attendant
Responsible for preparing and cleaning guest rooms which includes making beds dusting guest rooms cleaning bathrooms replenishing bath supplies vacuuming rooms and other duties as assigned. Responsible for transporting clean and dirty linen to/from hotel laundry room and maintaining cleanliness and organization of linen closets. Assists with processing large amounts of hotel linens by sorting washing drying and folding using various large machines. Assist with inventory of linen and distribution and inventory of employee uniforms. Assist with any guest service needs as requested.
Grooming:
- High standards of grooming and personal hygiene should be observed at all times while at work and on hotel property. Women are allowed one earring in each ear with no more than a one inch dangle. Men are not allowed to wear earrings. Men’s hair must be
above the collar and facial hair in the form of a trim beard or mustache is only acceptable if approved at time of hire. Only
conservative hair colors and styles are permitted. No watches rings or excessive jewelry will be permitted when working in the dining
room.
