  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.
  • Must have great work-related attendance history and adhere to company’s attendance policy.
  • Must be able to get along/communicate well with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must pass background check.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Mobility and dexterity to move and carry large heavy objects weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, pull and carry, reach above and below the shoulder while cleaning and stocking restaurants, stockrooms, etc.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Able to tolerate areas with high temperatures in excess of 115 degrees near dish machine.
  • Able to use the following chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen areas: bleach, pine sol, oven cleaner, etc.
  • Specific vision abilities required, such as distance vision, color, depth perception, etc.
  • Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
  • Must have the dexterity to grip necessary items (dishes, mops, glasses, etc.).

Job description:

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Clean and sanitize all dish ware, glassware and silverware.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Maintain a pace of work which allows supplies to be cleaned and put in their proper place which meets business demands.
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment while preparing tableware for washing, i.e. scrapes plates, pre-soak silverware. Sets up dishwashing machine, i.e. drains closed, tanks filled, temperatures at correct level, detergent at proper level and thoroughly cleans dish washing equipment and working areas.
  • Responsible for handling the removal of garbage and refuse; mopping and sweeping floors; washing walls and ceiling tiles.
  • Washes, stacks and stores china in appropriate kitchen area.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner.

Job description:

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to culinary team members and guests.
  • Maintains current and accurate information regarding food items (i.e., preparation techniques, seasonings, ingredients)
  • Prepares food items per guest order as required including, but not limited to, breakfast items, entrees and desserts according to guest request Employs proper cooking methods, cooks to specifications, and handles, stores and rotates food properly in accordance with established health and safety standards
  • Slice, dice, chop and prepare raw products
  • Carve meats, portion food on serving plates, add gravies and sauces, and garnish plates as required
  • Wipes counter areas, sinks and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe work station Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards
  • Maintains par levels of operating supplies and food product for each workstation obtaining replacement stock from warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure
  • Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures
  • Provides personalized service and uses guests’ names when possible
  • Knows and promotes current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas
