Housekeepers/Room Attendants

are responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas within the Hotel are clean and properly presented.

Essential Job Functions for Housekeeping/ Room Attendant include (but are not limited to):

• Clean the required number of rooms each shift based on hotel standard
• Make beds, change linens, clean toilets, bathtubs, mirrors, floors, and sinks
• Vacuum, clean, and dust guest rooms.
• Follow all required safety and standard operating procedures
• Follow all company and regulatory policies
• Report lost and found to Supervisor
• Ensure that rooms are cleaned to the hotel’s quality standards
• Maintain a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests, co-workers, and property employees
• All other duties as assigned

You must arrive by the date agreed upon at the interview, and listed on your work offer, and are expected to work until the last day listed on your work offer.

You will be expected to arrive to work on time, every day, and dressed in proper uniform.

Laundry Attendant

Job prerequisites: Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, lift up to 40lbs, and have no sensitivities to cleaning chemicals. Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays is a must.

Job description: The primary purpose of this position is to assure the proper washing and drying of laundry. This includes operating washing and drying equipment, loading and unloading from machines, measuring and administering cleaning agents to laundry per product specifications, and folding and storing fresh linens. When necessary, will assist in housekeeping as a House Person or Room Attendant.

The position requires the ability to perform the following essential job functions, with or without
reasonable accommodation:

• Responds to guest concerns, complaints or suggestions appropriately, refers them to management in support of providing superior guest service.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or matters of significance.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• At all times projects a favorable image of Northwest x Southern Hospitality to the public.
• Maintains safe working conditions within department and Hotel.
