Position Description:
Housekeepers responsibility is to maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for our guests. Our resort has 2-3 bedroom condominiums, suites, villas and cabins that require housekeeping duties.
Housekeepers may be asked to help in our laundry department that will require the cleaning (washing and drying) of all hotel linens, replenish supplies and stock of linen through housekeeping closets throughout the hotel.
This is a physical job. You must be able to do the following:
- The ability to stand for long hours at a time
- The ability to kneel, crouch, lift and bend.
- The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
- The ability to work in unpredictible weather: rain, wind, cooler and hot temperatures.
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Knowledge of English language
Please understand that cleaning chemicals are required to use in this department. Cleaning chemicals are used specifically to kill bacteria on surfaces in the rooms. Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be avaiable when using or being around these chemicals. All chemicals must be used properly, so it does not cause any harm to you, your co-workers and guests.
Banquets Department as Set-up or as a Server.
You may be assigned to one position or you may do both depending on the needs of the Resort, your previous experience, and abilities. The Setup Associate is responsible for the setup, refresh, tear down and maintenance of all meeting space according to Resort standards The Banquet Server is responsible for the setup and serving of food and beverages to guests at all banquet functions according to /5 1Position Details Resort standards.
Theme Park Attendants will monitor rides, games and areas throughout the Waterpark, ensure cleanliness of the Theme park and interact with guests. This is a physical demanding job that requires someone who is motivated and willing to work hard and provide outstanding Guest Service. You should be able to work independently and follow directions from your manager. Since you will have interaction with the guests, Advanced English is required.
