Server – Margaritaville

Job prerequisites:

  2. Participants must be outgoing and willing to clean and remove rubbish

Job description:

Responsible for excellence in guest satisfaction; serves food and/or beverages to the guests according to established standards and keeps dining area clean at all times by performing the following duties: Possesses full knowledge of food and beverage products served and utilizes suggestive selling techniques, takes orders and delivers food and beverage in a timely manner, ensures guests receive immediate, friendly, and personalized service to build their intent to return, guides guests through menus, answers questions thoroughly, and provides specific item suggestions and information about the establishment. Maintains positive guest satisfaction by exceeding service expectations, handles guest complaints or directs them to a manager, operates point-of-sale system with high level of efficiency, and handles large amounts of currency. Practices proper cash handling procedures by addressing the point-of-sale system after every transaction, properly organizing money, counting change back to guests, and following appropriate checkout procedures. Sets up and breaks down equipment and supplies.Maintains work areas by organizing and cleaning service stations and pre-bussing tables as needed of all used glassware/plateware/silverware/etc. Writes down all orders and inputs them into the point-of-sale system accurately. Scrapes, racks, and stacks glassware/plate ware/silverware properly in dishwashing area. Acts as a final check on the quality of food and beverage items before they are served to guests and ensures appropriate garnishes and condiments are on plates. Assists management in training new Staff Members within their department when applicable. Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.

When necessary, will occasionally assist host person with greeting and seating guests. Adheres to responsible alcohol service established by company policy. Job description:

Responsible for greeting customers, checking identification (if applicable), controlling the flow of traffic, and maintaining guest areas by performing the following duties:
Handles initial and final contact with all guests; greets guests in a positive, professional, and welcoming manner and thanks them as they leave.
Provides information and conversation while guests are waiting and being seated.
Introduces guests to their server.
Accommodates guests with special requests.

Job description:

Responsible for generating revenue by demonstrating product knowledge, suggestive selling and conducting sales transactions with guests in a variety of indoor and open-air locations by performing the following duties:

Greets guests with a smile in a professional, friendly and courteous manner. Possesses full knowledge of all retail products and provides an interactive guest experience through the utilization of suggestive sales techniques and product demonstrations in a positive and outgoing manner.
Exceeds guest expectations by engaging with each individually to provide a personalized shopping experience. Folds, wraps and bags merchandise.
Processes merchandise sales and returns by operating a point-of-sale system and handling large amounts of currency including cash, credit card transactions, travelers’ checks, vouchers and discounts with high efficiency and accuracy. Practices proper cash handling procedures by utilizing the point-of-sale system, properly organizes money, and counts change back to guests. Following appropriate checkout procedures including verifying starting cash bank and balancing out at the end of shift. Stocks, replenishes and retrieves merchandise and supplies. Ensures all merchandise is ticketed and correctly priced and takes accurate markdowns. Achieves or exceeds sales goals provided by General Merchandise Manager/Merchandise Store Manager. Maintains sales floor appearance standards by cleaning floor surface and dusting counters and displays by using appropriate tools. Completes all opening, running and closing duties as assigned. Assists in loss prevention by practicing proper security safeguards as outlined during training. Maintains high-level of knowledge regarding the company’s products and happenings, and communicates properly to guests; establishes rapport with all guests through name recognition. Notifies manager/supervisor of low inventory and recommends new inventory; communicates opportunities and concerns. Job description:

Delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately. Acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff. Communicating food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities (e.g. food allergies). Maintain front façade of the building, toilets, floors, and surrounding work areas by keeping the area swept, mopped, and free from spills, trash, debris. Removes waste, garbage, and recyclable materials from tables and work stations. Removes dishes, glasses, cutlery, and resets tables. Scrapes and stacks plateware in the dishwashing area. Greets guests with a smile, in a friendly manner. Assists servers and management to achieve a successful shift. Stocks replenish, retrieves, supplies. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.


Line Cook – Landshark Bar and Grill  / Margaritaville

Job prerequisites:

  1. Upper Intermediate to Advanced English required 7/7 or above.
  2. Love for cooking or experience in culinary a plus.
  3. Participants must be willing to clean in the kitchen and remove trash.
  4. Participants will stand the entire shift.
  5. Participants are in contact with sharp knives, boiling liquids/water, hot pans and grills. Kitchens will be hot.
  6. Participants must cut and serve pork. This is a must. NO exception.
  7. Students must be comfortable in an urban/city environment.
  8. Must arrange own housing

Job description:

Prepares food according to recipes. Coordinates food orders to ensure timely delivery. Prepares food by measuring, cutting, peeling. Ensures all products are stored, labeled, rotated. Ensures cleanliness of all freezers, prep areas. Assists in kitchen cleanliness, including all station equipment, utensils (flat tops, grills, storage drawers) Cleans all dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and utensils. Removes waste, garbage, and recyclable materials from the kitchen. Stocks cleans, closes all stations. Flexible and willing to be trained in all kitchen positions dishwasher, line cook, prep cook. Participants must work with pork. Stand for long periods of time.
