** This is a part-time position from May to September 2026. Participants must be available for all home games and concerts, with reporting times 3.5 to 4 hours before each event. Weekly schedules and hours will vary, and 32 hours per week are not guaranteed. Overtime is not common. In the United States, overtime pay begins only after 40 hours in a week. Most participants will not reach this level. If overtime is offered, it will be paid according to federal and state law.

Job prerequisites:
Upper Intermediate or higher English proficiency
A love for cooking or previous culinary experience is a plus. Willingness to perform kitchen cleaning tasks and remove trash as needed. Ability to stand for the entire shift. Comfort working with sharp knives, boiling liquids, hot pans, and grills; kitchen temperatures will be high. Willingness and ability to cut and serve pork—this is a firm requirement with no exceptions. Awareness of New York City’s high cost of living. Comfort in an urban/city environment. Responsibility for arranging personal housing independently.
Responsibility for securing a second job if additional income is needed. Commitment to working all scheduled home games. Participants cannot change positions upon arrival
Job description:
A Cook is responsible for preparing food according to recipes and production guidelines while strictly following food safety, handling, and sanitation protocols. The Cook must safely use kitchen tools and equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and broilers. Key Responsibilities: Prepare various foods according to recipes and production standards; set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment; measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel ingredients; safely and effectively use utensils, including knives; operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers; use cooking methods like baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming; arrange, garnish, and portion food following guidelines; store food properly in accordance with safety policies; clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly; maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude; follow all Aramark safety and sanitation policies; perform additional duties as assigned by the manager. This role requires a commitment to food preparation standards and teamwork to support a high-quality kitchen environment.
Meals details: One free meal is provided per shift.
You should arrive 4 to 7 days before your DS-2019 start date to allow time for Social Security processing if needed. You cannot change your assigned position upon arrival and will be expected to fulfill the responsibilities outlined for your pre-assigned role at Maimonides Park. You are not permitted to switch to another venue. This is a non-tipped kitchen role. Participants may not switch to tipped positions such as Stand Associate after arrival. Accepting this offer means you agree to fulfill Cook responsibilities for the season.
Event-Based Work
Work is scheduled only during Cyclones home games and select stadium events. There are no guaranteed weekly hours. Some weeks may have no shifts. You must be available for all home games. Arrival is required 3.5 to 4 hours before game time. Reporting times are assigned by Aramark and may change with short notice.
