Job description
Fast Food Server/Cashier: Greet customers, provide speedy service, and be knowledgeable about the menu. Must have excellent customer service skills. Job duties:
- Take food orders
- Energetic and able to move and work in hot/fast paced environment
- Use cash registers, process transactions and make change
- Must have basic math skills and knowledge of US currency
- Assemble food for the customer
- Pour drinks
- Package French fries, hot dogs and other food items
- Clean and stock workstations
Fast Food Server/Cook:
- Expeditiously and accurately prepare, cook and serve food according to Nathan specifications and procedures.
- Master the skill of working from order screens. Keep up with demand. s Famous
- The holding of food must align with the demand. Food products that exceed holding times must be discarded.
- Provide sales associates with all products needed.
- Make sure food assembly areas are always well stocked and clean
- Identify any equipment that is not working correctly and notify manager immediately.
- Be knowledgeable in cooking procedures, equipment, and product specifications manual, as well as health and hygiene regulations.
- Proper use of cooking equipment is essential. Note: Participants will be handling pork products
When business is slower, participants will be asked to conduct general cleaning duties including cleaning:
- Bathroom walls, floors, tiles, grout, sink and toilets
- Kitchen walls floors, kitchen equipment and refrigeration units
- Locker rooms
- Dining room tables, chairs and condiment containers
- Parking lot, steps, outside tables, and seating areas
Note: If participants do not wish to do these duties, participants can ask to go home early instead
Outside porter:
- Discretely clean round customers making sure the space is always immaculate to the best of their abilities. Maintain a warm friendly attitude towards customers, always being helpful when possible.
- Assist in cleaning the bathrooms, general open areas, as well as kitchen, preparation, office, and private bathrooms.
- Use only approved cleaning chemicals, never mixing i.e. (bleach with ammonia) and keep chemicals away from food.
- Always follow wash, rinse, sanitize, air dry sequence when doing dishes and cleaning tables
- Help others when s/he gets done, i.e. doing trays etc.
- Recognize guest situations and report them to management.
Participants will work as general cleaners/ outside porter. Employees will be standing and walking about in a hot crowded environment during the entire shift. Participants will be using cleaning chemicals.
In this role, employees will be asked to conduct general cleaning duties:
- Sanitize surfaces and take out trash
- Clean and stock workstations
- Cleaning bathroom walls, floors, tiles, grout, sink and toilets
- Cleaning kitchen walls floors, kitchen equipment and refrigeration units
- Cleaning dining room tables, chairs and condiment containers
- Cleaning parking lot, steps, outside tables, and seating areas Assists customers who are dining outside as need.
