Bethany Beach, South Bethany and Fenwick Island are popularly known as “The Quiet Resorts”. Assisting Bethany Beach’s reputation as a “quiet” place is the presence of Delaware Seashore State Park immediately to the north of the town. Despite its small size, Bethany Beach boasts the usual attractions of a summer seaside resort, including a short boardwalk, a broad, sandy beach, motels, restaurants, and vacation homes. Because Bethany Beach does not sit on a barrier island, residential areas continue some distance to the west of the town’s limits.

Host or Hostess

Job description :  Hostesses help create a welcoming dining experience by greeting guests, managing reservations, and guiding them to their tables. Responsibilities include answering questions, assisting with seating arrangements, and rolling and preparing silverware for service. This role offers the opportunity to develop customer service and teamwork skills while contributing to a positive and organized dining environment. Other duties may be assigned by the manager as needed. Must be able to work in fast-paced environment.

Line Cook

Job description : Line Cooks help create delicious meals and a positive dining experience by preparing menu items according to restaurant standards. Responsibilities include learning the menu, preparing basic dishes using established recipes, following the kitchen manager’s directions. Line Cooks also ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and food storage areas meet cleanliness and safety standards. This role provides the opportunity to develop culinary, teamwork, and time management skills while contributing to an efficient and welcoming kitchen.
