Food Runners

Food Runners help ensure a positive dining experience by delivering food promptly and accurately to guests, acting as a key point of contact between the front of the house and the kitchen, and ensuring smooth communication and service. Other responsibilities include assisting servers, maintaining clean and organized service areas, and providing friendly and attentive guest support. Must be able to lift items up to 30 lbs. This role offers the opportunity to develop teamwork, customer service, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Other duties may be assigned by the manager as needed.

Prep Cooks

Prep Cooks help support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients and basic menu items for service. Responsibilities include chopping vegetables, measuring and portioning ingredients, following recipes and kitchen manager directions, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This role offers the opportunity to develop culinary skills, teamwork, and time management in a fast-paced kitchen environment while contributing to a smooth and efficient dining experience. Other duties may be assigned by the manager as needed.

Line Cook

Line Cooks help create delicious meals and a positive dining experience by preparing menu items according to restaurant standards. Responsibilities include learning the menu, preparing basic dishes using established recipes, following the kitchen manager’s directions. Line Cooks also ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and food storage areas meet cleanliness and safety standards. This role provides the opportunity to develop culinary, teamwork, and time management skills while contributing to an efficient and welcoming kitchen.

Dishwasher

Dishwashers help maintain a clean and efficient kitchen by washing all soiled dishes, utensils, and cookware, and returning them to the cook’s line. Must be comfortable working in a hot (28°C) environment, work quickly, and keep the station clean and organized. This role provides the opportunity to support the kitchen team in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while contributing to a positive dining experience.

The employers are looking for hardworking students and the level of English needs to be at least Intermediate.
