Chute Attendant

As a chute attendant at Ruidoso’s Winter Park your primary responsibilities are creating a fun and most importantly a safe experience for our customers when they are tubing down the hill. It is important to engage with the customers, smile, and be able to clearly explain all safety rules. Responsibilities:

• Assist customers into their tubes at the top of the hill
• Explain safety rules to customers before sending them down the chute
• Maintain safe distance between riders
• Assist with set-up and tear-down of the hill each day

Besides the listed responsibilities you may also be required to:

• Clean bathrooms
• Clean common areas
• Pick up trash in and around park
• Carry stock from storeroom to retail and ticket office

Required Skills:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 15lbs
• Must have excellent communication skills
