Position Description:

Housekeeper/Laundry

Clean rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming. Change bed linens and replace towels or other amenities. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures dust. Notify managers of any needed repairs. Clean common areas as requested or other duties as needed.

Dining Room Attendant

Clear and reset tables and assist the food servers in their duties while providing courteous, professional and efficient service to the guests. Set up and break down buffet; stock and maintain service stations.

Steward or Dishwasher

Steward/Dishwasher-Dish-washing and kitchen cleaning functions.

Beach & Pool Attendant

Servicing guest’s needs and maintaining cleanliness of beach, pools and health clubs. Instruct and enforce policies regarding towels, chairs, umbrellas and pool usage. Provide basic first aid if needed. Handle pool chemicals, partake in water safety training session.

Grounds Person

Clean and maintain public hotel areas and hotel grounds. Watering all plants and flowers and maintenance of plants. Responsible for weeding, mulching and tree trimming when necessary. This requires the use of sheers, blade saw and other gardening tools. Trash pick-up/removal.

Bell Person

Greet guest with a warm welcome at hotel entrance and provide services related to the transportation and storage of luggage and provide other guest services.

Grooming – Must be presentable and clean.

Uniform –Khaki pants or khaki shorts to the knee, white shoes. Employer provides shirts at no cost.
