Proficient English is required for this position. Must be 21 or older to apply and be able to stand for the duration of your shift. Applicants must be comfortable working with all food types, including pork and seafood and must not have any sensitivities to cleaning chemicals.
The host would like to hire participants who are in their first or second year of school, an would like to exclude seniors from applying. The host also prefers applicants who are majoring in the hospitality industry and have a keen desire to work in the service industry.
Job description:
We have server positions available for participants with excellent English skills and at least 21 years old. Duties include seating customers, taking orders, serving food, bussing tables, washing dining-ware dishes, keeping dining room and bathrooms clean, re-stocking server supplies, such as beer kegs, ketchup bottles, rolling silverware, etc.. Tips are split equally based on hours worked: 50% for the front-of-house staff and 50% for the back-of-hous staff. Wages start at $13 per hour, promotion potential up to $16/hour.
