Housekeepers are responsible for keeping guest rooms and hotel areas clean, comfortable, and welcoming for guests. Duties include cleaning both stayover and checkout rooms, making beds, changing linens and towels, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking supplies.
Housekeepers also help maintain common areas, public bathrooms, hallways, the pool area, parking lot, and outdoor areas, including taking out garbage. This is an active and physical position requiring standing, walking, bending, and working at a steady pace. Training is provided, and students will gain valuable U.S. hotel experience while working in a new and professional property in one of Wisconsin’s most popular tourist destinations.
